Steve has been busy in the polytunnel and in our garden planting a wide variety of produce for our residents to enjoy.
So far this year he has started with, pak choi, large onions, spinach beet, climbing French beans, peas, leeks, potatoes, strawberries, fig, cucumbers and tomatoes.
There are so many benefits from growing our own fruit and vegetables. Our residents will be eating our own produce which will be fresher and more nutritious for them.
Sustainability is important to us and growing our own produce supports sustainability in our home and our environment.
